Well, my sister in law and I have started picking up a few things for Christmas I know!! it's only September but hey with 3 kids and 4 adults in the house we need to get started and well the little bits we picked up are mounting up in my bedroom (our current hiding place) and well it needs to get logged (so we don't forget what we have got) and wrapped so sitting at the craft table today doing a little colouring on some Christmas images and having the realisation that I am so lacking in stamps small enough for tags. Although I will be rectifying that very soon. I mean come on who has not seen the new Mama Elephant stamps with the cute snowmen or the elves or the penguins just soo many choices!!!!!! Gingerbread Wishes

I have never been a Christmas card sender if I am totally honest however this year I think that since I have quite a few Christmas cards that maybe this year it is the time to send them out. For the main item on this card I used the Hero Arts Gingerbread Wishes stamp which I recently got on eBay however if I can find a link for somewhere that has it for sale I will. Using a red card base to add a little colour I used a Christmas plaid paper from Paper Addicts Yuletide Wishes 10cm by 10cm pad and adding some glitter 3m tape on the card on the left I used the green and card on the right I used silver to finish off I used to sentiments from a stamping magazine (at moment I never note these although this will be) and finished it off with Neat & Tangled Classic Christmas Mix to give a little extra pop.  Hero Arts Gingerbread Wishes (Sadly could not find this) Copics & Promarkers 3m Glitter Tape  (From The Works in UK) Paper Addicts Yuletide Wishes  (...

Amazing

This is a very simple card again grabbing a couple of items from my little box of goodies and for this I pulled out the large flowers again done with the galaxy and just stuck a couple in each side just to give it something on the side and using the Crafti Potential Die & Stamp Set Amazing Set added the cut out of Amazing and used some foam tape to lift it up and putting a little bit of the 3mm glitter washi from The Works on looking at the card I do think I should have gone with a lighter tape to really show it off but I still think it came out rather cute. To finish it off I stamped onto the card directly a simple message. This is a cute simple and easy card. Crafti Potential Die & Stamp Set Amazing Set (Craft Stash)

I often find that I am making cards and my go-to sentiments are birthdays but I am now needing to challenge myself to use a few more sentiment stamps that I have and I have plenty. This card set is using the remaining pieces from my favourite things collage die. I used the butterfly and flowers from a stamp set that at this present time I can not remember what it is called and using a galaxy background from using distress inks which I watched from a youtube video ages ago.  To finish off I used a sentiment from Pretty Quick A5 Stamp Set Sentiments Quotes & Verses and used the Everyday Sentiment Banners Lawn Cuts from Lawn Fawn Pretty Quick A5 Stamp Set Sentiments Quotes & Verses (Craft Stash) Everyday Sentiment Banners Lawn Cuts (Seven Hill Crafts) MFT Horizontal Collage Cover-Up Die (Seven Hill Crafts)

Like many out there I am great procraftinator I spend days watching YouTube, looking on pin interest and trawling Instagram seeing all the great cards and thinking ohhh I should try that.  So I go and save the pennies and buy the stuff and get all excited at it arriving in the post and then I end up having it sitting around and just not picking it up to use or the other thing I am guilty off is stamping and colouring then doing the fussy cutting and then putting the final item in a box saying "ohh I'll use it later" and then it just sits there.  But on this card, I finally took an idea and ran with it. This card is made with the Knit Wit stamp set from Sugarpea Designs and using my favourite things collage die.
