Challenge 1 - Day 1
So the challenge has started and I sat on the pc for a little bit thinking and decided that I wanted to get some sketches to use for card making. I think card sketches are a great tool to help people learn and I follow Kirstie Marcotte on youtube (her channel is linked below) and she uses sketches for all her paper pad using cards and these help me figure out things on this card.
On this card, I used the Freshly Made Sketches 295 originally going with the round design as there were some round elements in the cut out of this paper selection but in the end, I decided to go with some plain circle die cuts and a simple birthday sentiment.
I will admit if I was to do this card again I would change a few things I would not have used liquid glue to place the black card down as it has warped the card a little and I think I would have raised the flower up so that it set off from the card. But I don't think it turned out too bad.
